Library Rules and Regulations

At Scholar Square's Physical Library, we are committed to fostering a conducive learning environment for all. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please familiarize yourself with our library rules and regulations:

1. Book Borrowing Procedure

- You can borrow a maximum of 2 books at a time.

- Present your valid student ID or library membership card to check out books.

- Please handle library materials with care.

2. Book Returning Rules

- Books are to be returned within 15 days from the date of borrowing.

- Extensions may be granted upon request, if no other patrons have reserved the book.

- Use the book drop box for after-hours returns.

3. Fines

- Overdue books are subject to a fine of ₹1 per day.

- Fines are calculated from the due date until the day of return.

- Please return borrowed items promptly to avoid fines.

4. Book Purchase

- Suggestions for book purchases are welcome. Recommend titles related to your studies or interests to enrich our collection.

5. Membership

- Membership for enrolled institution students is free.

- Membership cards are issued upon enrollment and must be presented for borrowing.

📚 Library Etiquette

- Maintain silence and respect the peaceful study environment.

- Keep your cell phones on silent mode and take calls outside the library.

- Do not write or mark in library books.

- Our library is open from 8:00 a.m to 7:30 p.m . Please check with the Co-ordinator the  for specific hours of operation.
